Perspective and Identity
Students explore the concept of perspective and identity by writing narratives from the viewpoint of a lifelong learner with diverse experiences.

Narrative writing, literary analysis, poetry, persuasion and public speaking for Grades 6–8.
At Wise Owl, our Junior High Language Arts program immerses students in a vibrant exploration of contemporary topics, personal interests, and cultural perspectives through a variety of media. Starting with personal narrative writing on identity and perspective, moving into global cultural norms through literature analysis, and progressing to the foundations of literary analysis, our curriculum is designed to enhance critical thinking and communication skills.
Students also engage in poetry interpretation and creation, develop persuasive writing techniques, and enhance public speaking skills. Throughout the year, ongoing activities reinforce English grammar and literacy, ensuring that students are well-prepared for academic challenges and capable of thoughtful participation in global discussions. Join us at Wise Owl for an educational experience that nurtures responsible, informed global citizens.
